"Great book! This second book in the series finds our heroine helping the living and the dead, all while battling evil and trying not to be annoyed by her ex-boyfriend. I enjoyed following her adventures and look forward to book #3. I would recommend this book. "

" I enjoy this series about attorney Bree who inherits her uncle's law practice, which unfortunately also includes celestial law. The cases for her earthly legal practice have a way of also including justice for someone who has passed away. Interesting series, but you have to read the first one to understand who the people are. This must be the 2nd in the series because the only case they talk about from the past is the one in the first book. "
— Karen, 2/20/2014" Book 2 in this series. I'm still enjoying the premise, and I feel like the writing is coming together a bit better. The conversations are still somewhat stilted and I don't think the main character is developed enough. As a lawyer I still say she should be asking more questions about her unique circumstances. She did, however, do a bit more of that in this book than the first one so that's something. The mystery itself was good, clues were left in all the right places and at the end was satisfying. Overall a fun read if you are looking for a light guilty pleasure, beach kind of escape. I'll definitely give the next in the series a try. "
— Melinda, 2/20/2014" I actually liked this one better than the first one in the series. "
— Elaine, 2/1/2014" A sort of mixture of cozy and paranormal mystery set in Savannah, Georgia. If you like those genres or styles you will probably like this blending of the two. But the story moves rather slowly and the danger/action seems almost haphazard at times. Still, it has a unique concept and plot. "
— Kevin, 1/19/2014" Wanted to continue with this series since I enjoyed the first one. This case was more complex than the first one but the characters were just as much fun. "
— Judy, 12/5/2013" A little less straight forward than the first book in the series. There is potential for this to be a fun series so I'll definately keep reading to see how it progresses. "
— Cameron, 11/24/2013" Entertaining and quirky "
— Janet, 11/17/2013" Another good book! I liked this story. So many twists I couldn't figure out who was the bad guy. Quick easy read, I highly recommend to all. For those who are not exactly mystery readers, you will like this book. "
— Cynthia, 10/29/2013" I'm doing a blog post and will post my review there. "
— gigi, 10/23/2013" Great book! This second book in the series finds our heroine helping the living and the dead, all while battling evil and trying not to be annoyed by her ex-boyfriend. I enjoyed following her adventures and look forward to book #3. I would recommend this book. "
— Suz, 8/27/2013" Just finished the second in this unusual mystery series and I am completely hooked. They are so clever and enjoyable. I'm now a fan of the "Beaufort & Company" mysteries. Time to find the third one. "
— Jeff, 6/19/2013" Second in a newer mystery series. I liked the first one better, but still a fun easy read. I'm working on my library to order the third one. "
— Glenna, 6/13/2013" One of a kind series. Don't miss it! "

— Scoozer, 6/29/2011" Excellent Mystery with a twist of paranormal. "
— Kimba, 6/25/2011" Nice cozy series, a little from others. I guess you could call it "angelic." (That was bad.) I like the dogs! "

— Melissa, 10/17/2010" I really enjoy this series by Mary Stanton. The concept of a modern day lawyer working with Angels to defend the recently deceased is creative and entertaining. You can't help but become a fan of the characters! "
