" This installation of the Sweet Potato Queens books was hilarious! Conner Browne is talented and fabulous. This book includes great stories about her father. I highly recommend the audio version, as the author reads it and gives a great performance. "

Come on, you've gotta have a point in there somewhere! 3.) Ease up on the CAPS LOCK for pete's sake! The pages look like the ravings of a 13-year-old girl, not a grown-ass woman! "

" This was funny. Sweet Potato Queen books are pretty matter-of-fact, dripping with sarcasm and good old fashioned Southern speak. They tend to be more for an older audience--maybe late 40s and up, but this one was a "what to expect in the future" type story. Good recipes near the end as well. "

" Jill is getting old. She's changed. Still has lots of hilarious stories and well worth it. I especially liked the creative way her high school friend created a bouffant hair style. They didn't have bump-its back in the 60s. "
