About Herman Parish

Herman Parish (c. 1952–2024) wrote nearly sixty books featuring the character Amelia Bedlia. He was in the fourth grade when his aunt, Peggy Parish, wrote the first book about Amelia Bedelia, the lovable, literal-minded housekeeper. He took over as the author of the Amelia Bedelia books in 1995.

Angela Goethals is a native New Yorker who has appeared on and off Broadway in Picnic, Four Baboons Adoring the Sun, and The Good Times Are Killing Me, for which she won an Obie Award and a Drama Desk nomination.
