It is, however, a book for those who find themselves in need: In need of a Saviour, in need of happiness or in need of a better perspective. If you find your heart in a need of a kick start, or if you don't, read this book. It has passion and zeal by the bucketload, but perhaps most importantly; within its cover is a good old kick in the behind. Quite frankly; if you don't think you need to read this book, I can practically guarentee you it's precisely the book you need. I know I did."

About Charles Spurgeon
C. H. Spurgeon (1834–1892) served for thirty years as preacher and pastor of London’s six-thousand-seat Metropolitan Tabernacle, which his growing congregation opened in 1861. His writings, including thousands of sermons, are still popular with pastors and devotional readers.
