Adrenaline: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience! *

"If you knew this was our final day together, what would you say to me?"

"Anything but good-bye. I can't ever say good-bye to you."

Sam Capra is living the life of his dreams. He's a brilliant young CIA agent. His wife Lucy is seven months pregnant with their first child. They have a wonderful home, and are deeply in love. They have everything they could hope for...until they lose it all in one horrifying moment.

Sam receives a call from Lucy while he's at work. She tells him to leave the building immediately. He does...just before it explodes, killing everyone inside. Lucy vanishes, and Sam wakes up in a prison cell. As the lone survivor of the attack, he is branded by the CIA as a murderer and a traitor.

Escaping from the agency, Sam launches into a desperate hunt to save his kidnapped wife and child, and to reveal the unknown enemy who has set him up and stolen his family. But the destruction of Sam's life was only step one in an extraordinary plot--and now Sam must become a new kind of hero.

" I like Jeff Abbott and I like great bars so I wanted to like this book. It was an interesting ride, but I need to accept that I don't enjoy spy novels and move on to another genre. Sam is a great character, Mila and interesting boss, there is a buddy, a good nemesis, I just didn't love the read. "

" Sam Capra receives a phone call from his pregnant wife telling him to get out of the CIA office in London immediately. She also works in the office but was attending a doctor's appointment. A bomb goes off in the office killing everyone but him. He is arrested and held for several months enduring torture from the company. His wife is missing and the company believe either he or her are traitors. He is finally released but is observed constantly. He works as a bartender, a job he held while he was attending university. He finally escapes and travels back to Europe to try to locate his wife. The story takes twists and turns as he teams up with a woman, Milia, who refuses to tell him who she works for but seems to have endless resources. A good story and I can see future novels with the same main character. "

" it was good..........i never 2nd guessed the correct ending. I just think these plots get sort of over long and complicated. I could have lived without the last section...............just end it in holland. IT appears that the author is leaving it open for a series.........sam and mila "
