"DiAnn Mills is quickly turning into one of my favorite Christian authors. I loved Sage's character in this novel. She was a great blend of strength & femininity. Too often authors make their female characters too rough but that wasn't at all a problem here and Sage was a complex woman. The story that brings Parker & Sage together is quite an intricate one with a few light twists and turns that weren't quite expected. A joy to read."

" A freebie for my Kindle that I really enjoyed. I think I've liked every book I've read by Diann Mills, so I should probably seek her out more :) This one was very different, a half Ute Indian woman who loses her husband and child to a gang in Colorado in the late 1800's. She becomes a bounty hunter and seeks out those who murdered her family. It's Christian fiction, so some of the plot deals with forgiveness and her rediscovering her faith and dependence on God. I really enjoyed it and would probably give it a 3.5 if the rating system allowed :) "

" A very interesting read. Gripping (although slightly predictable) beginning. The middle reads a little slow but the ending was very unpredictable and I like that in a book. Most of the time I can see the mystery unfolding throughout the book and figure out the ending, but this one took me by surprise and it was well worth the two day read. "

" This is an excellent read with a plot twist that you will not figure out until the end. I like the perspective of christian faith it brought out which harkens to some of the political/religious "hollier and more American then thou" language that we are forced to endure in America today. It is a freebie but I consider my time as valuable and this book was well worth my time! I highly recommend it. "

" Well, this was just ok for me. Characters weren't really developed, and I found myself accurately predicting what would happen throughout. No surprises, no anticipation. Rather ho-hum. It ended happily, which was a plus. "
