About Anne Rockwell

Anne Rockwell grew up dreaming of becoming an artist, and after her daughter was born in 1958, she knew that creating books for children was what she was meant to do. Her books include Truck Stop, First Day of School, Apples and Pumpkins, and Only Passing Through.

About the Narrators

Rodney Gardiner is an audiobook narrator and an accomplished actor with over six seasons at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in such roles as Tinman in The Wiz and Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls.

Qarie Marshall is an Earphones Award–winning narrator. He has narrated more than thirty series for the Discovery Channel, TLC, and the BBC, as well as providing the in-flight programming for Virgin Atlantic Airlines and BBC radio plays. He has voiced over eighty video games for the PlayStation and Xbox and was a guest voice on Comedy Central’s Drawn Together. He was made an associate artist of the Purple Rose Theatre in 2007.
