Publisher Description

In A Love that Multiplies, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar share the principles they have relied upon to get them through the challenges of raising nineteen children, as well as the character qualities they teach their kids and try to model themselves. The world continues to be amazed by their nineteen well-groomed, well-behaved, well-schooled children and their home life, which focuses on family, financial responsibility, fun—and most importantly, faith. The Duggars show how parents can succeed whether they’re rearing a single child or several.

"After only 5 pages into the book I was happy to see one of the Duggars' goals in writing _A Love That Multiplies_ is to show that a person can live a godly life even with difficult challenges and struggles. Another things that stuck out to me was a comment about their fan mail: even those who consider themselves liberal, Muslim, or non-religious write to tell them they admire the end product of the way they've trained their children. While I don't agree with all of their religious convictions, their methods of family management, child rearing, and devotion to God while "under the microscope" encourage me to grow more like Jesus myself."

" I really enjoyed reading about how the Duggars organize their everyday life with all those kids. I don't agree on a lot of their particular beliefs, but I do love the advice they implement for raising children with patience. Whether you agree with their methods or lifestyle, you have to admit that they raise their kids to be polite and respectful. "

" I would give it 3.5 stars. Interesting book about life with a large family. Some of their ideas seem a little dated or preachy to me, but they seem to be doing well. Best wishes! "
