About the Authors
Carolyn McCray grew up in Napa Valley, California. A natural-born storyteller, she used to “direct” the other kids from her neighborhood in recorded readings of Nancy Drew mysteries. A lifelong animal lover whose first word was “rhinoceros,” she managed to fulfill her twin passions by growing up to become a veterinarian and a writer. She is the author of Heartsblood, Fated, 30 Pieces of Silver, and Encrypted, among others.
Ben Hopkin is a transplanted Texan. After being indoctrinated in the Lone Star State, he was ripped from his ancestral home and whisked away to Southern California, where he was forced to appreciate fish tacos and sushi. While there, he worked as a professional actor, director, and producer, as well as a teacher, which he loves most. He has now settled in Provo, Utah, with his wife and three children. Just in case there was any question, Provo is not a happy medium between Ft. Worth and Los Angeles, although his kids have made the transition from body boards to snowboards seamlessly.

Benjamin L. Darcie has been on the
stage since he was six years old, performing in everything from musicals to
Shakespeare. He drifted from the stage to the screen, acting in and directing
short films, as well as doing voiceover work and narration for trailers, films,
and audio books. He currently lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
