About Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross (1926–2004) earned a place as the best-loved and most-respected authority on the subjects of death and dying. Dr. Kübler-Ross, whose books have been translated into twenty-seven languages, passed away in 2004 at the age of seventy-eight. Before her death, she and David Kessler completed work on their second collaboration, On Grief and Grieving.

About Ellen Burstyn

Ellen Burstyn’s career has encompassed more than forty years on stage, in film, and on television. She has been nominated six times for an Academy Award, winning the Best Actress Oscar in 1974 for Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, as well as a Tony for her performance in Same Time, Next Year. She continues to serve as co-president of the Actors Studio in New York City.
