Ranch owner Cane Kirk lost more than his arm in the war. He lost his way, battling his inner demons by challenging any cowboy unfortunate enough to get in his way. No one seems to be able to cool him down, except beautiful Bodie Mays. Bodie doesn’t mind saving Cane from himself, even if he is a little too tempting for her own peace of mind.
But soon Bodie’s the one who finds herself in need of rescuing—only, she’s afraid to tell Cane what’s really going on. How can she trust someone as unpredictable as this fierce cowboy? When her silence only ends up getting her into even deeper hot water, it’s up to Cane to save the day. And if he does it right, he won’t be riding off into the sunset alone.

" This book had me stopping and wondering what was going on. I really enjoyed the writing from the first book and couldn't wait to read this one. I am a DP fan and just like the older/meanie H that has to fix the situations when he screws it up terribly. Wyoming Fierce just had me wanting the H to just go away. H needed a lot of therapy before he could be around the general public much less in a 'relationship' with h. The story had the misunderstandings and the I fix it and make it all better. I enjoyed it up until the point H did what he did after the wedding!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!! I just totally lost it for the flow of the writing, the story line and the ever needed HEA. No way am I going to believe that H came to the knowledge of 'loving' h and them going at it and all was well. I felt the book took a nose dive from there. It just felt as though DP whipped up the last 1/4th of the book and went with it. This is the first that I wasn't fully satisfied with and will continue with her older books and also with the newer ones. We all can't be perfect all the time!!!! "

— KellyJo, 1/14/2014" I liked this book, but it wasn't one that had me anxiously rushing back to read it. It was a very wholesome romantic story. "
— Kelly, 1/4/2014" Incredibly bad. Head hopping galore, moralizing/preaching, and incredibly high level of telling rather than showing things. I will probably never try another Diane Palmer book again, that's how awful it was. "
— Tory, 12/22/2013" I loved this book so much! A must read! "

— Carol, 11/18/2013" Would give 3.5 if I could. "
— Cindi, 11/4/2013" I have to admit, the story started out okay. I was not impressed with the hero, and the heroine didn't seem very strong, but it usually gets better, right? By the end of the story, I could not stand Cane. I would not recommend this book. "
— Dana, 10/19/2013" Excellent book. Diana Palmer has a true gift in story telling "
— Dena, 4/17/2013" Even though it was a pretty short book, I thought it dragged on a lot. The relationships were hard to follow and the ending abrupt. Not my fav. "
— Hope, 2/21/2013" I liked this book about support and recovery from tragedy along with romance. "
