Wrecked is a manifesto for a generation dissatisfied with the status quo and wanting to make a difference.

"It seems as though our world today is filled with all sorts of warnings. Caution! Hot coffee. Warning, smoking may cause cancer. Beware of dog! I'm not quite sure how Wrecked, by Jeff Goins was allowed to be published without so much as a read at your own risk! label. Goins has a way with words that not only tells a captivating story, but pricks the soul of the reader, drawing them in to the story itself. The beauty of Wrecked is that Goins shares from a place of personal, raw honesty. A quality that allows the reader to believe the words on the page and be emotionally, mentally, and spiritually impacted. The impact is nothing short of a gut check at the deepest level. Goins holds back nothing, as he pushes the reader to the point where a choice must be made; stay the same or become wrecked. As much as instinct begs that everything stay the same, many will find it too difficult and costly to do so; opting instead for the necessary pain and discomfort of becoming wrecked and making a world shaking difference. This is not a book for the faint of heart however, as your heart will be challenged to consider the thing that's been pushed to the dark recesses of your thinking. Wrecked is not a book to be read while on vacation, or casually while passing the time between your kid's soccer and basketball practice. However, if you know your life is begging you to shake the dust from its dry old bones, then I'd encourage that you read with reckless abandon. Read with your heart and mind wide open, and brace for impact, as impact will most certainly come your way. To state it another way, to read Wrecked is to play a game of Chicken with the status quo. Who'll flinch first? Go get wrecked, I bet you'll look back and be glad you did.Wrecked is a must share with a friend book, no doubt."

“Jeff Goins wrote my favorite kind of book. First he lived it, then he wrote it. The result is a book that everyone who has ever wondered ‘Is there more to life than this?’ should read.”
— Jon Acuff, Wall Street Journal bestselling author of Quitter: Closing the Gap between Your Day Job & Your Dream Job“Everything Jeff Goins writes is purposeful, fervent, and full of humanity. The stories and ideas in this book will break you, shape you, and ultimately fill you.”
— Matthew Paul Turner, author of Churched“Vulnerable and gritty, Wrecked is going to dig into your heart and change you. You will be compelled to live.”
— Sarah Mae, author of Desperate“In our story-centered culture we’ve learned that personal growth often comes through pain, struggle, and conflict, but we’re still drawn to comfort over calamity. Through his own story of being wrecked, Jeff Goins leads us into a calling of giving our lives away for the sake of God being able to use us for His glory. Wrecked is the challenging book needed for upcoming generations looking to find their place in our world.”
— Tyler Braun, author of Why Holiness Matters—We’ve Lost Our Way but We Can Find It Again" What happens when you run up against the brokenness and frailty of the world? Goins argues that it wrecks us and gives us a chance to never be the same. Wrecked is a good narrative of the ways we pick ourselves, commit to things and live a life that is more full and purposeful. A good book. "
— Dean, 2/6/2014" Meh. I hate to be Debbie Downer here, but I found this book obvious, redundant, and preachy. Perhaps I'm not the right audience, because frankly, most of what is put forward here did not strike me as new information. I wanted to like it; I always WANT to like books, mostly because I hate wasting my time. I was also very distracted by the religiosity laced throughout. "WRECKED" also bothers me. I find it silly and immature (so deliberately trying to coin a catch-phrase)- and it sounds like something Gary Vaynerchuk would come up with. Blah. "
— Rebekah, 1/18/2014" An amazing book. It really makes you stop and think about your life. Well done to Jeff for putting it into words, I mean it's what everyone is thinking about, but can't put into words! "
— Rob, 12/30/2013" Good book for anyone, maybe even in their twenties. Helps answer "what am I doing here? ". Helps readers understand the big picture and their part in that picture. We are all connected. "
— Sharon, 12/6/2013" I gave this book away to an inspiring teen before I finished it. I say that is a good review. "
— Brenda, 11/25/2013" If you are twenty something there might be something in here for you, but not really a book for grown-ups "
— Mike, 9/20/2013" I had great expectations for this book, but truthfully I was underwhelmed. I did not feel there was much insight, the book meandered a lot, and not enough stories to drive points home. All the same, the message is good and important. "
— Tim, 5/9/2013" Great book...a reminder of how important it is to be in God's Word in order to be in His will. Our hearts need to be broken by the things that break the heart of God. "
— Cindie, 2/25/2013" Great book! You can't read this book, and not change how you are living your life. "
— Heather, 2/5/2013" Excellent read. Definitely one to re-read every few years or more!! "
— Jenny, 1/29/2013" Started this book on a Friday, finished it Sunday afternoon in between refereeing several basketball games. I did not want to put it down. Very interesting book, makes one think... "
— Stanley, 12/25/2012" Amazing, powerful book that will change lives - starting with mine! So much wisdom. Do the hard thing, the uncomfortable thing. Start where you are and commit. It's not about us. What we WANT is secondary to what we are called to do. READ THIS BOOK. Then read it again. "
