Susan Glaspell (1876–1948) was a Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright, novelist, biographer, poet, actress, and director. Her works include Trifles, A Jury of Her Peers, and Fidelity. Her work was strongly influenced by a murder trial Glaspell covered for a newspaper, in which a woman was convicted of murdering her husband.
Steven Weber is an Earphones Award–winning narrator who has been a finalist for the prestigious Audie Award for Best Narration. He has been named by AudioFile magazine three times for best narration of the year. As an actor, he made his film debut in 1984 in The Flamingo Kid and has since acted in numerous films and television series, including Wings and The Shining. He has also appeared in many stage productions, including National Anthems and the Broadway musical The Producers.
Jeanie Hackett is an actor, director, author, and teacher. She has performed on Broadway, regional, and Los Angeles stages, and appears frequently on film and television. She has directed award-winning productions and has served as artistic director for two prestigious Los Angeles theater companies. She is the author of two popular books for actors and has taught or coached hundreds of actors, from beginners to celebrated artists.
