Brandon Sanderson is the author of such bestsellers as the Mistborn® trilogy, including New York Times bestsellers and the #1 New York Times bestseller Words of Radiance. Charles Stross is the author of the bestselling Merchant Princes series, the Laundry series, and several stand-alone novels, including Glasshouse, Accelerando, and Saturn’s Children. Born in Leeds, England, in 1964, Stross studied in London and Bradford, earning degrees in pharmacy and computer science. Over the next decade and a half he worked as a pharmacist, a technical writer, a software engineer, and eventually as a prolific journalist covering the IT industry. His short fiction began attracting wide attention in the late 1990s; his first novel, Singularity Sky, appeared in 2003. He has subsequently won the Hugo Award twice. Ken MacLeod is an award-winning science fiction writer. His novels have won the Prometheus Award and the British Science Fiction Association Award and have been nominated for the Hugo and Nebula Awards. He is the author of more than a dozen novels. He graduated from Glasgow University with a degree in zoology and in 2009 was writer in residence at the ESRC Genomics Policy and Research Forum at Edinburgh University.

Brit Mandelo is a writer, critic, and the senior fiction editor for Strange Horizons. She has had her fiction, nonfiction, and poetry published in such magazines as Stone Telling, Clarkesworld, Apex, and Ideomancer. She has been a nominee for both the Nebula Award and the Lambda Literary Award. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky.

Rachel Swirsky is an American literary, speculative fiction, and fantasy writer and editor. She graduated from Clarion West and holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers Workshop. Her work has been shortlisted for the Nebula, Hugo, and Sturgeon Awards. She lives in California.

Meghan McCarron is a fiction writer who is best known for her short story, Swift, Brutal Retaliation,which was nominated for the Nebula and World Fantasy Awards. 

Xe Sands has more than a decade of experience bringing stories to life through narration, performance, and visual art, including recordings of the Nightwalkers series from Jaquelyn Frank. About the Narrators

Luke Daniels, winner of sixteen AudioFile Earphones Awards and a finalist for the Audie Award for best narration, is a narrator whose many audiobook credits range from action and suspense to young-adult fiction. His background is in classical theater and film, and he has performed at repertory theaters around the country.

R. C. Bray is an award-winning audiobook narrator with over 180 titles to his credit. Besides winning five AudioFile Earphones Awards, he won the prestigious Audie Award in 2015 for Best Science Fiction Narration and has been an Audie Award finalist seven times. He has been a finalist for the Voice Arts Award, and in 2014, his narration earned a Publishers Weekly Listen-Up Award. He is also an accomplished producer and voice-over artist, and his voice can be heard in countless TV and radio commercials.

Amy McFadden has narrated more than two hundred titles in many different genres. She is an AudioFile Earphones Award winner and has been a finalist for the prestigious Audie Award for best narration. She has acted on stage throughout Michigan for more than twenty years and in commercials and film for ten years. She is a founding member of Dog Story Theater in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

MacLeod Andrews is a multiple Audie, Earphones, and SOVAS award-winning and Grammy-nominated narrator with hundreds of credits to his name. Perhaps best known for a cinematic approach with full characterizations and intimate deliveries in series such as The Reckoners, Sandman Slim, and Warriors, he’s also been noted for his straight reads ranging from memoirs to modern classics. Jill Redfield is an audiobook narrator. Her works include Bared to You, Reflected in You, and Feral Sins.

Gideon Emery was raised in England and South Africa, where he won the National Vita Award for Comedy and a Gold Craft Award for Voice-over. Now based in Los Angeles, he has appeared on such television series as 24, Burn Notice, Eleventh Hour, CSI:NY, and Moonlight. His film credits include Primeval, Train, and Takers. He is also an in-demand voice for video games.
