"Gotta love these classic horror stories! Jekyl and Hyde is a short book, and even though we all know the story of how Dr. Jekyl drinks a potion and turns into his evil alter-ego Mr. Hyde, the telling of the story is creepy and the vocabulary is brilliant. "

" A short Novella that digs into the Psychology of the angelic man, made before the fall; and the dirty creatures, that lies in all humans. The psychology developed and explained here is great. If you are looking for a long read, this will not suffice. "

" As a fan of the musical version I was let down with the original version. It is a dry read with second hand accounts and letters throught the whole piece. Much less internal musings of Dr. Jekyll and hardly any words from Mr. Hyde we are left to discover the events through the eyes of a skeptical Lawyer looking out for an old friend. Still a wonderful story, just perhapse not the best medium to view the story. "

" A fun and short read. Not quite to my taste as such, as although explanation is given to the change in Jekyll/Hyde, it does border on the supernatural and that isn't something I'm particularly interested in. The writing itself is impeccable, and I enjoyed it for what it was. "

" Not so fun when you know the story, but cool in a different way. Its, like, the first scary story I've ever really read(so its going in my favorites b/c i actually enjoyed it). "

" Interesting read; I may have liked it better if I didn't already know the ending. Only the first half is the mystery. The last half is the explanation which is done in the most unimaginative of ways. "

" I didn't like this book until the last chapter, when it explained everything, and how mr. Hyde was sin. It was eye opening, and I really found in interesting. Everything leading up to that though, I was a little bored. Definitely worth a one time read though. "

" and interesting short novel however it felt as if it had been plucked out of a longer, non existent version of the book, the start and end didn't properly justify the novel, due its shortness it felt rushed, however it was extraneously detailed and overall was a mildly exciting prose fiction.
