A romantic weekend at Marlow House Bed and Breakfast turns deadly when Earthbound Spirits founder, Peter Morris, is murdered. Plenty of people had a reason to want the man dead—especially Danielle's current guests.
But it isn't Morris's ghost distracting Danielle on this deadly Valentine's Day weekend, it's her late husband Lucas. She has her hands full with suitors coming from all directions—both living and dead—while she tries to figure out if there's a killer in Marlow House.

"I have followed this series from Danielle's first look at her inherited mansion and the characters are pretty well-developed, the scenes vividly described without being over done, and the plots are clever and intriguing. The fact that Danielle seems to have tons of money, and really has no "real" worries like most people in real life, sort of takes away from the character for me, especially when Lily get tons of money too... but that's just me. This book sort of fell short for me, more sitting around talking about who could have done the murder, and everyone trying to win Dani's attentions takes away from the story with Walt. I really like the whole "ghost" idea but some of the characters are a little irritating. All in all, I enjoy the books and hope they sort out some of the more annoying characters and get back to more of the interactions with Walt. "
