Publisher Description

Whit and Wisty Allgood have sacrificed everything to lead the resistance against the merciless totalitarian regime that governs their world. Its supreme leader, The One Who Is The One, has banned everything they hold dear: books, music, art, and imagination. But the growing strength of the siblings' magic hasn't been enough to stop the One's evil rampage, and now he's executed the only family they had left. Wisty knows that the time has finally come for her to face The One. But her fight and her fire only channel more power to this already invincible being. How can she and Whit possibly prepare for their imminent showdown with the ruthless villain that devastated their world-before he can truly become all-powerful? In this stunning climax of the epic Witch & Wizard series, the stakes have never been higher-and the consequences will change everything.

"Great story, better than the other two volumes. Just like the other ones, I thought that it needed a little more ''meat''. I felt like I was missing a major part at the beginning. Also, there is a slight difference in the writing (three different co-authors). But all in all, it's a great story, a little darker than the other ones, and I couldn't wait to find out what happened."

Quotes

  • “An entertaining audiobook that will likely inspire listeners to read the trilogy.”

    — Publishers Weekly
  • “The action is relentless and there are too many close calls to count in this supernatural suspense thriller.”

    — School Library Journal on Witch & Wizard: The Gift
  • “As Whit, Elijah Wood is a natural storyteller, and his smooth voice is well suited to this magical tale. Spencer Locke’s voice is more expressive and bright, rising and falling in agitation and fear as Wisty’s power grows.”
