She has received numerous awards for her poetry and she is the author of The Adventures of Christopher Cross and Family, a fictional character-building series for children in grades K-6. She resides in Arizona and has three children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. When she is not busy writing, she enjoys making silk floral arrangements, singing, and eating fried chicken and coffee ice cream. Her favorite colors are yellow and orange.
