Seventeen-year-old Ashleigh is about to experience a lot of things for the first time. 1) Snow. She and her mom are moving from sunny Texas to an icy island in the middle of Lake Michigan, which is completely snowbound. As in, no cars, just sleighs. 2) Small-town life. The icy island? Yep, it’s tiny. Like, 30 people in the whole high school tiny. And scariest of all: 3) Boys. Of course they had boys in Texas. But none of them were as irresistible—or as hard to figure out—as Josh Wynter. And before the snow melts, Ashleigh might also be falling in love…

"This book was very cute. For me it was more like a short story in that it didn't really have the time for the characters to fully develop. That being said, I really enjoyed Josh and Ashleigh's relationship. Ashleigh, was very fun and sweet. I appreciated the fact that she had a strong moral compass. (view spoiler)[ I loved the fact that although she enjoyed kissing and being Josh she understood that it was wrong and fought those urges. (hide spoiler)] Josh was very likeable as well. I loved how he was able to talk about how he was feeling even if he was misguided in his actions because of said feelings. One thing that frustrated me was how many times the same phrases were used. If Ashleigh said toe curling one more time I would have lost it. All in all though the book was super cute and a fun and easy read. I finished it in one sitting and really enjoyed it."

— Tran, 2/18/2014" well... It was really something teens can relate to. It's just that it is a bit short. "
— W.w., 2/16/2014" This is a romance. It was pretty good. "
— Katie-Lee, 2/4/2014" 2.5 but it pains me to rate a book a 2 if I got some fluff enjoyment out of it, so 3 it is. Overall a fun, light and fluffy book with a hint of annoying at points with the mc's adamant refusal of specifics that you know she is going to cave in to. Almost distressingly predictable, but it had it's shining moments of cuteness to make up for it...sorta. "
