" I enjoyed this book so much more than the first Dave Gurney novel. This book made me believe that Dave, his wife, and their marriage might actually have some hope. Great story and so twisted. "

The central plot of each is amazing and the twists and turns Verdon adds are tremendous. Verdon keeps you interest at every point. He does a great job of building each character and offers a lot of character introspection, which I normally don't like but Verdon does it very, very well. Superb books, both of them. "
