" You have to listen to this book - it isn’t bad - but it has a few bits where it moves too fast and you have to make some leaps (and having the gaps filled would have been nice) - but this book sets up book two wonderfully and Book two is great - so any flaws with this one make it worth it (and book two isn’t standalone at all!). The narration is good - keeps good pace and didn’t loose the vibe at all. Not as smutty at Via’s Promises or Nothing Special series, but still an entertaining listen with characters that are enjoyable and heartwarming. "
