Rafe Kincaid controls everything in his life... until he meets Julia. Julia Gilliland has always been interested in the natural world around her. She particularly enjoys studying the fossils and formations in the magnificent cave near her father’s house. The cave seems plenty safe—until the day a mysterious intruder steals the rope she uses to climb out. Rafe Kincaid is a man used to being in control—of himself, his brothers, and his family’s ranch. The last thing he expects is to find a woman trapped in the cavern on his land—or to be forced to kiss her! Rafe is more intrigued by Julia than any woman he’s ever known. But when their developing relationship threatens a reconciliation with his brothers, will Rafe have to choose between his family and this new love that could heal his troubled heart and secure his happiness?

"Oh boy... I wish I'd read this one first. Wonderful story of the eldest Kincaid brother and how he comes to find himself a wife. "Find" being the operative word. I love Mary Connealy's ability to write humor that keeps the story light and lively without trivializing the tension. These books are hard to put down. If you ever enjoyed the old TV western shows, like The Big Valley, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, etc., you need to read this trilogy. Trust me. :)"

" This was a fun read. Nothing groundbreaking and kind of predictable. Nothing wrong with a fun little romantic read. She's stubborn, he's bossy. Always makes for fun :) Definitely a great summer read! "

— Autumn, 11/16/2013" I walk and read most of my books. When a book can be so intriguing that you walk down the wrong hallway, it has to be a good book. I really enjoyed this novel and will seek out this author for more of her books. "

— Ranee, 8/1/2012" The story was good, but I found Julia beyond annoying. Normally love this author but this is my least favorite of her books so far. "
— Susan, 6/6/2012" Did not care for this book. The premise behind it could have been a good one but so many parts of it seemed so random and like it kept repeating itself. And I found none of the characters in the least bit likable. Would not recommend this book. "
— Shawn, 2/23/2012" Can't say I cared much for this free kindle book. The story was a little all over the place and I never felt a strong pull towards any of the characters. "
