About Charles J. Finger

Charles Joseph Finger (1869–1941) was a British-born American writer and an accomplished musician, teaching piano and directing orchestras. In 1925 he won the Newbery Medal for his book Tales from Silver Lands (1924). In 1930 he published an autobiography, Seven Horizons.
