About the Authors

Frank Lovejoy (1912–1962) was an American film, radio, and television actor who played a number of detectives, reporters, and soldiers over the course of his career. His gritty voice was ideal for radio, and he went on to star on such shows as Night Beat and Gangbusters.

Stacy Harris (1918–1973) was a Canadian-born actor with hundreds of film and television appearances. He was best known for his role as agent Jim Taylor on radio’s This Is Your FBI. His other roles in radio included Batman in The Adventures of Superman and Ted Blades in The Strange Romance of Evelyn Winters. He was also a member of the casts of Confession, Dragnet, and Destiny’s Trails.
