She has a firm grasp of continuity in her plot lines, her dialog is tight and realistic and she is a master at describing surroundings so you almost feel like you're there! And she knows how to tell a gripping story without foul language and overly gruesome scenes This book is no exception.I really liked the characters and wanted everything to turn out good for them. The narration was excellent. Beau is 70 years old, but still sharp as a tack! I hope Ms Jance doesn't let him get too much older. "
