"I thought this was a fun book to listen to... Like the others in this series the science and magic is well thought out and the combat sequences are engaging and interesting. I think the dialogue is a little flat at times, but that may just be the narrator(of whom I am not a huge fan). The alien species are all basically reskinned humans, but that isn't necessarily a huge deal breaker for me. It is interesting to see how beings of godlike power interact with "mortals". I would recommend this book, but not as much as the first two(that's probably just because I enjoy Sci-Fi more than fantasy). "
