"I enjoyed this continuation of the Cowin Curse series. Amber Rose is a very different heroine dealing with some unique inlaws in wonderfully wacky ways. Who ever would have thought of using a descented skunk as a weapon? Romantic and amusing. I look forward to the next book. "

“Quirky, even slightly crazy secondary characters join these strongly developed protagonists and add to the fun in this sassy, sexy story with a rapid-fire pace. Second in Phillips’ trilogy about the Corwin curse, this winner will send readers looking for the rest.”
— Library Journal“Phillips invests the second installment in her Lucky contemporary-romance trilogy, featuring the Corwins, who were cursed long ago by a witch, with quirky characters, entertaining scenarios, and a healthy helping of skepticism on the part of the Corwin brides.”
— Booklist" Decent story but not exceptional. I did like the subplots of both h and H having to deal with caring for their ill fathers. "
— Melanie, 2/17/2014" Cute but predictable.... "
— Robyn, 2/15/2014" I liked this one much better than the first. I loved that Mike and Amber were impulsive in Vegas, and that what happened in Vegas, didn't stay there. Amber's crazy past and present had the potential to really screw up things for them. While it did a little bit, it was Mike's crazy family that brought them together. I loved Mike's dad, Edward. He was so eccentric and out there it was hard not to like them. The gathering at the end so fit the extended family and had me laughing. "
— Darcy, 2/12/2014" good book will get next book in series in October "
— Heather, 2/5/2014" very exciting story.Keeps you wondering whats going to happen next. "
— April, 1/30/2014" gotta love a steamy sexy novel. "
— Katy, 1/27/2014" This was a fun read. I really liked the Heroine even though she was screwy on some things. I think the family was a hoot too. I enjoyed this book. "
— Jennifer, 1/11/2014" Ok so far my favorite Carly book. The dad and his "girlfriend" had me rolling. Ok on to Lucky Break.... "
— Blaire, 1/9/2014" hot books! "
— Ann, 12/16/2013" A bit too much in the romance department for me. I'll finish the series just because I feel like I have to but I think I'll say away from this author in the future. "
— Jennifer, 11/19/2013" ::3.5 stars:: "
— Kristie, 11/18/2013" This is the second in a series. I liked the first one better I think. This one was just a little to "Vegas" for me. After having lived there, survived it -- barely, two times, anything Vegas-like leaves me cold. "
— Tania, 11/16/2013" Another fun read. This one has more mystery and danger elements to it so I read this book fast. I just had to know how it was going to end. I will say when you do reach the climax for the mystery and drama it's pretty low key. Overall just a great fun book to read. "
— Nicci, 11/16/2013" To review later "
— Trish, 11/12/2013" Gotta love Vegas! "
— Gina, 10/8/2013" This was ok, just like the first one, not that exciting. "
— Gina, 9/2/2013" Enjoyed this second in the series even more than the first. I liked Mike a lot as a hero, even though I typically don't go for all that push and pull. "
— Carrie, 6/30/2013" While this novel starts fast furious, it degenerates almost as quickly. Too bad a good premise is wasted by dwelling on negativity, missed and lost opportunities. 2 of 10 stars "
— Tim, 4/29/2013" every girl should ready a romance novel, once in a while.... "
— Gingeranne, 3/9/2013" Good light reading book. "
— Debra, 11/28/2012" Pretty good, but not one of my favorite Carly Phillips books. I found myself skimming through and skipping around. "

— Jennifer, 3/13/2011" Once again there was tons of focus on the curse thing but I really liked the story between the two main characters. They have such different backgrounds but they are made for each other even though they have a hard time of it. "
— Trina, 2/17/2011" very exciting story.Keeps you wondering whats going to happen next. "
