    " I never know if I can say I "read" a book that I actually listened to... I took an impromptu road-trip last week, and picked this up at the library on CD to keep me entertained. It did the trick...smutty, stupid, improbable...delightful! It cracked me up how all the characters, both male and female, were read by one performer, and the various accents etc...good stuff! "

About Barbara Taylor Bradford

Barbara Taylor Bradford, bestselling author, was born and raised in England where she started her writing career as a journalist. She has written numerous international bestsellers, and fifteen of her novels have made the New York Times bestsellers list. Ten of her novels have been adapted into television mini-series, starring actors including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Liam Neeson, Deborah Kerr, and Elizabeth Hurley. She has been inducted into the Writers Hall of Fame of America and in June of 2007 was awarded an Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II for her contributions to literature.

About the Narrators

Terry Donnelly is a narrator and an actress who has appeared on television in Law & Order. She is the narrator of more than a dozen audiobooks, and her reading of Quentins by Maeve Binchy was a finalist in 2003 for the prestigious Audie Award in the category of Solo Narration – Female. She earned an AudioFile Earphones Award for her reading of The Gathering by Anne Enright in which she was praised for “capturing [the author’s] every subtlety.”

Kate Burton, an Earphones Award–winning narrator, is best known for her work on Broadway in Hedda Gabler, The Elephant Man, The Constant Wife, and Spring Awakening, as well as on television in Grey’s Anatomy and Empire Falls. Her films include Big Trouble in Little China, The Ice Storm, Unfaithful, and Remember Me. She played the title role in Alice in Wonderland with her father, Richard Burton, on PBS.
