"I'm giving this book 4 stars simply because I figured the end out before the end of the book. However, it has been an amazing read. I had not read anything by the author before reading "Hostile Witness." The story held my attention, the plot was tight and well thought out. The characters were realistic. I look forward to reading the rest of this series. Highly recommended."

" The story line was good, but,I got a little tired of Forster's repeating and repeating how much Linda loved Hannah and how Josie was going to fight for Hannah. "
— Diane, 2/16/2014" I liked the lead characters but it was predictable for me. I'm just bored with murder mysteries right now "
— Bluern, 2/13/2014" Started reading this book this morning and have now finished it. The first chapter had me hooked and I just couldn't put it down. I found Josie someone I could relate to with her determination to find the truth no matter what. The whole story was fast paced with depth and intrigue. Looking forward to reading the next one in the series now. "

— Laura, 1/13/2014" I liked this fine. There were some back story issues that I wish had been cleared up more, but I did enjoy the story - I must admit, however, that I predicted much of what I ended up reading and I am just not that good at this stuff so I suspect most will find this too predictable "

— Travis, 1/18/2013" It was pretty good until the end which was totally ridiculous. I can't say more without giving it away but I really hated the ending. It was like the author threw in a last minute twist to add drama and action but I didnt like it. "
