About the Author

Max McCoy is an award-winning novelist, screenwriter, and investigative reporter. In 1992, he won the 1992 Medicine Pipe Bearer’s Award for Best First Novel from the Western Writers of America for The Sixth Rider, a novel about the 1892 Dalton raid on Coffeyville’s banks. Hellfire Canyon, McCoy’s fourteenth novel, was named Best Paperback Original by the Western Writers of America in 2008. His other westerns include I, Quantrill, A Breed Apart, and Into the West, the novelization of Steven Spielberg’s epic television miniseries.

About the Narrators

Henry Strozier has appeared in numerous films, including Contact, You Don’t Know Jack, Thirteen Days, and Sex in the City. Also a voice-over artist, he has worked extensively in video games and audiobook narration, where he has earned several AudioFile Earphones Awards.

Carol Monda is an Earphones Award–winning narrator and accomplished voice-over artist. She is also an award-winning actor known for her work in Out of Season, After You Left, and The Gentlemen.

Scott Sowers is an actor and audiobook narrator. AudioFile magazine named him the 2008 Best Voice in Mystery and Suspense. He is the winner of seven Earphones Awards.
