Tera Lynn Childs’s sequel to Forgive My Fins offers another tail-flicking romance with plenty of fun, sun, and underwater adventure.
On Lily Sanderson’s eighteenth birthday she’ll become just a girl—still a mergirl, true, but signing the renunciation will ink Princess Waterlily of Thalassinia out of existence. That leaves plain old Lily living on land, dating the boy she loves, and trying to master this being-human thing once and for all.
Now that Lily and Quince are together, mer bond or not, she’s almost content to give up her place in the royal succession of Thalassinia. But just when she thinks she has everything figured out, the waves start to get rough.
Lily’s father sends a certain whirlpool-stirring cousin to stay with her on land. What did Doe do to get herself exiled from Thalassinia and stuck in terraped form when everyone knows how much she hates humans? And why why why is she batting her eyelashes at Lily’s former crush, Brody?
The seafoam on the raging surf comes when a merboy from Lily’s past shows up—Tellin asks Lily for something that clouds her view of the horizon. There’s a future with Quince on land, her loyalty to the kingdom in the sea, and Lily tossing on the waves in the middle.
Will she find a way to reconcile her love, her duty, and her own dreams?

"I really enjoyed reading this book - It really had me worried at points, sad at others and extremely happy at the very end. Well worth the buy and read. I cannot wait for the third book now - I wish it was coming out today!"
— Emelie (5 out of 5 stars)
" Crazy, wild, but hopeful 'til the end. "
— Marissa, 2/11/2014" Great book, can't wait to read the 3rd one, sounds great! I want to read it now!!! "
— Louisa, 1/26/2014" The first book was better, this one it seemed like Lily was just extra whiny and pouty and extra annoying. How many times does she have to hear she's self centered and doesn't ever see the bigger picture? Well for about 90% of the book and then at the last 10% she finally gets it together. I'm not entirely sure that I'll be picking up the next book. Luckily it wasn't 500 pages worth of Lily trying to figure it all out. That's the one redeeming quality, that the books are so short. "
— Sophia, 1/17/2014" This book wasn't really that great to me. She becomes human full-time to be with her soul-mate and her cousin tries getting in the way of their relationship but it doesn't work and they stay together forever. Eventually she goes back to her kingdom under the sea though. "
— Marisa, 12/25/2013" 4.5 stars. Loved loved Loved this book! Review to come! "
— georgia, 12/19/2013" Again very cute. "
— Vivian, 12/17/2013" loved it! shocked by the ending though! "
— Lena, 12/1/2013" I like this series but I enjoyed Forgive My Fins more then Fins Are Forever. "
— Sandy, 9/20/2013" Considering that i finished the first and this book in half a day, i would consider this a light read. A nice refreshing break from all the intense literature with death, sickness, internal conflictions and whatnot. The plot moves accordingly and smoothly, with just enough detail and action. "
— Pran, 5/2/2013" I didn't enjoy this quite as much as the first book, Forgive My Fins, but it was a fun continuation of the story of Lily, the mermaid princess. "
— Gayle, 1/22/2013" 3.5 stars. A fun, fast, and fun read. "
— Jen, 1/13/2013" I kinda wished there was a little more romance between Doe and Brody. "
— Skyla, 12/8/2012" Not as good as its predecessor; still light, fluffy and corny. Characters get a bit flat and whiny. I'm completely stuck on it though because I love mermaids. "
— Jillian, 11/18/2012" I could not wait to read this book, but it was defiantly worth it!!!!!!! "
— 1110cg, 10/28/2012" Really great and the amazing twist towards the end!!! Really luv it!!! Cant wait for the third book "
— Stephanie, 10/27/2012" Just like the first. Easy read but not very exciting. I kind of wish I wasn't so intent on finding out endings and finishing series so I wouldn't feel like I have to read the last one. I don't expect much from it. "
— Tamara, 10/3/2012" Awwesome Book !! Love it ! "
