It’s been an enjoyable and murder-free time for Judith, Suzie and Becks—AKA the Marlow Murder Club—since the events of last year. The most exciting thing on the horizon is the upcoming wedding of Marlow grandee, Sir Peter Bailey. Sir Peter is having a party at his grand mansion on the Thames the day before the wedding, and Judith and Co. are looking forward to a bit of free champagne.
But during the soiree, the trio hear crash from inside Sir Peter’s house. When they rush to investigate, they find the groom-to-be crushed to death in his study!

Robert Thorogood is an English screenwriter and novelist. He has written novels in two mystery series, the Death in Paradise series and the Marlow Murder Club series. He is best known as the creator of the BBC One murder mystery series Death in Paradise.
Nicolette McKenzie was born and
educated in New Zealand. Her television work includes the compilation and
presentation of three programs of New Zealand poetry for the BBC, as well as
comedy, revue, and popular drama. She played the role of Mrs. Bennett for the
BBC World Service adaptation of Pride and
Prejudice.
