"If you are a fan of Sedaris this is a nice recording to have and listen to on a long drive or while you are puttering around the house. Most of these stories are ones that are published elsewhere, but listening to live performances is a treat. There seems to be a different energy in the Sedaris recordings where he performs before a live audience. "

" Would it be a surprise to any of you if I said a David Sedaris live audio CD was hilarious? Most of this material isn't printed anywhere (yet?) and I wouldn't be surprised if it stayed audio only, since a lot of it was REALLY enhanced by David's accents/vocal mannerisms. Great stuff. "

David Sedaris is the author of a dozen books, including four that made the #1 New York Times bestsellers list. He is a regular contributor to the New Yorker and BBC Radio 4. In 2019, he was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
