Publisher Description

Stories … They are the building blocks of our lives. They are our memories. They are how we come to know our history. They are our escapism and entertainment. Some fact, some fiction, and some are a clever little mix.

These thirty-one stories are fiction. Short and scary. Delivered to you in small, terrifying bursts, much the way you’d experience each individual room in a haunted-house attraction. They were specifically written to be enjoyed by both the not-too-young and old alike. Inside, you’ll find horror, drama, even a few laughs—and zombies. Zombies by the ton. Gnawing, gnashing, stumbling, and staring … Right. At. You. Waiting … for a bite-sized offering.

About the Authors

Kyle Tait is a professionally trained voice actor and sports broadcaster based in Atlanta, Georgia. He’s done voice work for TV and radio ads around the world, corporate training videos, whiteboard and explainer videos, documentaries, audiobooks, and more. He’s narrated more than twenty titles on Audible and iTunes, across genres spanning from sports history to crime thrillers to self-help.

In addition to his voice work, Tait is an established sports broadcaster, calling baseball, basketball, and football on ESPN3, as well as serving as a studio host on multiple national college networks with IMG College.

Marnye Young is a SOVAS award-winning narrator for New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling authors. . A SAG-AFTRA voice, stage, and screen actor, she has spent her life in the South, Midwest, and North. When she isn’t narrating, she’s fishing, following NASCAR, volunteering, raising chickens, and “mom“ing her identical twins.

Michelle Bryan lives in Nova Scotia with her three favorite guys: her husband, her son, and her crazy fur baby. Besides her family, her other passions in life consist of chocolate, coffee, and writing. When not busy managing a chocolate store or spending the day at her computer, she can be found with her nose stuck in any sort of apocalypse book.

Colleen Delany has been a sparkling jewel in the crown of Washington’s vastly talented acting community for thirty-seven days now and will confidently challenge to a fierce best out of three in “paper-rock-scissors” anyone wishing to topple her from that lofty perch. Primarily a stage actress,—having played roles at Shakespeare Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Folger Shakespeare Library, Studio Theatre, Olney Theatre, Woolly Mammoth, Theater J, Washington Stage Guild, Theater of the First Amendment, and Source Theatre, among others—Ms. Delany does a you-name-it of various acting jobs, including audiobook narration.

About the Narrators

Gwyn Olson is a native of England and spent many years traveling around Europe. She currently lives in the Ozarks of northwest Arkansas with her husband and two children. Gwyn draws on her experiences in theater and her travels in Europe and North America to color her characters.

Bridie Lawrence is an audiobook narrator who lives and works in Sydney, Australia. From her home studio, she narrates for award-winning and bestselling authors, as well as large publishing houses (including Macmillan, Hachette, and HarperCollins). When she’s not narrating, she reads (of course), knits, and raises a small family of fur-babies. She loves to travel, which helps when she has to play with accents! She loves narrating all kinds of romance, erotica, and romantica, and the guarantee of a happily ever after … eventually. When she’s not behind the mic, she enjoys exploring Sydney with her small child, large dog, and medium-sized husband.

Keely Beresford has extensive experience in theatre and film, in addition to voiceover recordings. She set up her own recording studio several years ago, and has been working in radio drama productions for the BBC since 2009. She has an ongoing role as Miss Isabel Graham in BBC Radio 4’s drama ‘Home Front’ - the largest single radio commission ever undertaken by the corporation as a commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Great War. It is broadcasting throughout the wartime years and began on the 4th August 2014, 100 years to the day Britain declared war on Germany. The Home Front website: www.bbc.co.uk/homefront
