Only when tastier things arrive (An Assortment of Anchovies, Buffalo Burritos, Chicken Cheesecake...) does she Apologize to Grandma.

"Bad Kitty by Nick Bruel is very funny. Someone's kitty gets upset when there is only "healthy and delicious" food in the house. No Cat food. The alphabetical listing of these wonderful foods is fun and then the alphabetical list of the bad things the kitty does are hilarious. When the cat owner goes shopping and we hear about the alphabetical list of "weird" food that Kitty likes we are amazed. Then there is an alphabetical listing of all the good and repentive behavior that Kitty exhibits. 4 times we get to roll through the alphabet with Nick Bruel's wonderful imagination. It's very funny and I enjoyed reading it to my son. It reminded me of the kind of spoiled brat behavior we are all capable of if we don't get to eat what we want.....additionally, I learned a new word. XIGUA, which is a chinese watermelon pronounced :she-gwah. : )."

" I got tired of reading this book because my girls requested it over and over. I guess anything kitties do (since we have one) is delightful to them. Plus, seeing a kitty be naughty and then nice is funny to them. Add each thing he did in alphabetical order and you have a winner. (so they tell me) "

" The story of a silly kitty who decided to be "bad" when his owners run out of cat food. He makes all sorts of mischief, until they bring him food, and then he tries to make up for his mistakes. Cute illustrations and a story my kids love. It also sneaks in alphabet practice throughout the book. "
