Piper: I was only expecting a delivery of toothbrushes, but found myself face-to-face with an alien, not an Amazon delivery person. Abducted, I woke up on Niflheim, a heavily forested planet far away from home. Dumped here because my anxiety meds made me unworthy of my captors' plans. I'm surrounded by friendly and well-meaning orkin who, unfortunately, have little experience with anxiety. But there's another clan of orkin in the mountains who grow an herb that helps. And I'm bound and determined to get it even if it means braving the wild forest and early snows alone.

I'll help her get her herbs, I'd do anything for her, and maybe the Snaerfirar Tribe has answers to the question burning in my chest. Can humans and orkin be Elska mates?
