The chilling finale to C.S. Lewis’s Space Trilogy
Evil does not fall from the stars—it rises from the heart of England. At a seemingly innocuous scientific institute, sinister forces are gathering to reshape humanity itself. When a young academic couple, Mark and Jane Studdock, become entangled in its web, they are swept into a battle between dark, mechanistic power and the hidden forces of good.
That Hideous Strength blends science fiction, dystopian politics, and spiritual allegory into a haunting tale of modernity’s soul. A prophetic and absorbing novel that remains disturbingly relevant.
