"Ive been a fan for a long time and have been re reading (listening) to the entire series for the last 5 months. I had all of the audio book except for the last one and was pleased to find it here at a very reasonable price. My only wish is that some enterprising studio exec would fund a new movie franchise based on Jim Butcher's books. That would be amazing!"

Quotes
-
“Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer starring Philip Marlowe.”
— Entertainment Weekly -
“Poor Harry just can’t seem to catch a break as Queen Mab decides to use him as a chess piece in a debt repayment scheme. Much of what makes the Dresden Files so phenomenal and addictive is Butcher’s ability to bring a level of complexity to his stories and characters that always challenges his readers and leaves them guessing. Figuring out the motives and schemes of various individuals keeps this reading experience exhilarating and intense, and Harry’s wise-ass attitude adds a tremendous fun factor.”
— RT Book Reviews (4½ stars Top Pick) -
“Butcher brings back wizard Harry Dresden for his fifteenth adventure fighting a rogue’s gallery of supernatural villains…This is urban fantasy par excellence, with magical action, moral dilemmas, and a wonderful cast.”
— Library Journal (starred review) -
“Harry Dresden, having finally succumbed to Mab and become the Winter Knight, is hiding out. The spirit of the island can help keep his debilitating headaches at bay, and keep Mab off his back. She shows up with a job for him—help Nicodemus Archleone steal the Holy Grail from Hades…This should be just what fans of the Dresden Files series would hope for.”

Fans of Laurell K. Hamilton and Tanya Huff will love this series.
— Midwest Book Review -
Superlative.
— Publishers Weekly (starred review) -
One of the most enjoyable marriages of the fantasy and mystery genres on the shelves.
— Cinescape -
Butcher...spins an excellent noirish detective yarn in a well-crafted, supernaturally-charged setting. The supporting cast is again fantastic, and Harry’s wit continues to fly in the face of a peril-fraught plot.
— Booklist (starred review) -
What’s not to like about this series?...It takes the best elements of urban fantasy, mixes it with some good old-fashioned noir mystery, tosses in a dash of romance and a lot of high-octane action, shakes, stirs, and serves.
— SF Site -
A tricky plot complete with against-the-clock pacing, firefights, explosions, and plenty of magic. Longtime series fans as well as newcomers drawn by the SciFi Channel’s TV series based on the novels should find this supernatural mystery a real winner.
— Library Journal -
What would you get if you crossed Spenser with Merlin? Probably you would come up with someone very like Harry Dresden, wizard, tough guy and star of [the Dresden Files].

" This is the 11th book in this series. It is so well written and James Marsten wonderfully tells the story from POV of Dresden that it adds an additional dimension of experience to the story. It is very addicting and I am on my way to book 12 and 13. "
