Publisher Description

Team Hilo reunites to defeat a swarm of robot monsters rising from the Earth in this hilarious New York Times bestselling graphic novel series that’s “an action-packed page-turner with heart” (Dav Pilkey, author of Dog Man).

“A story that can be enjoyed by the entire family.”—The New York Times

“A perfect book for any kid who ever needed a friend and then had one with superpowers fall from space.” —Seth Meyers, actor, comedian and writer

Everyone’s favorite space boy—Hilo—is back! And this time, he’s brought his sister, Izzy, back to Earth with him from the strange world of Oshun. But just as life seems to return to normal —and just as Gina gets the hang of her new superpowers—giant robot monsters begin erupting from beneath the Earth’s surface. The monsters prove to be too big and too strong for Hilo to defeat on his own. But even as the rest of the team steps up to help, it becomes clear that the closer they get to saving their world from the monsters, the closer Hilo gets to the dark secrets of his past. Does he really want to know where he came from? Do we?!

Filled with laugh-out-loud text and the occasional space robot, this action-packed graphic novel series shows that no matter where you come from, kindness, friendship, and choosing your own path are the greatest superpowers of all.
