"I'm reading this book in and for my book club. I am about the same age as Philip Yancey, Many of the same happenings I or my brothers have experiments. Yancey does a great job of writing about the 1950/60s. This books is easy to listen to. I am a busy person and stopped and started many times. His written words painted an accurate pictures of this era in time, I recommend this book. Excellent writer!"

About Philip Yancey
Philip Yancey worked for ten years as an editor and then publisher for Campus Life magazine. In 1980 he and his wife Janet moved to Chicago where he began a career as a freelance writer. They moved to Colorado in 1992. He is the author of over twenty books, three of them coauthored with Dr. Paul Brand. He is grateful to be able to make a living writing about the questions that interest him.
