"So I'm a huge fan of Mary Higgins Clark, and have read nearly ALL her books, and after a while I don't remember which story is which title, but if I recall THIS one really drew me in, anything where YOU know the character is innocent and everyone else thinks they're guilty really gets me going. Clark has a couple of not-so-great books (especially recently in my opinion) so all her older books are my favorites. But I will always be a fan."

" Reminded me of a book called Fatal Cure by Robin Cook. They were both written in the late '90's and tackle the subject of the change in our medical system to HMO's. It is only a mediocre read but because I found it at an ATM as a wild bookcrossing release I have fond memories of it. "

" This my thrid book by Ms Clark and I am really enjoying her style. I loved the ethic's issue at play here and how the nurse stood her ground. It brought back some issues of my years as an RN and how sometimes the Doctor's would try and bully you into doing what you knew was wrong. Great read. "

" This book is the literary equivalent of cotton candy - fluffy, light, no substance whatsoever, but kind of fun every once in a while. I'd rate it closer to 2.5. A fast read, given that the chapters are generally a page or two long, but the story line is rather predictable. "

About Mary Higgins Clark
Mary Higgins Clark (1927–2020) was the author of worldwide bestsellers that sold more than one hundred million copies in the United States alone. Twenty-one of her books reached the #1 spot on the New York Times bestsellers list. She was chosen by Mystery Writers of America as Grand Master of the 2000 Edgar Awards. An annual Mary Higgins Clark Award sponsored by Simon & Schuster, to be given to authors of suspense fiction writing in the Mary Higgins Clark tradition, was launched by Mystery Writers of America in 2001. She was the 1987 president of Mystery Writers of America and, for many years, served on their board of directors. In 1988, she served as chairperson of the International Crime Congress.
About Jan Maxwell
Jan Maxwell is an American stage and television actress. She made her Broadway debut in the musical City of Angels and has been nominated for two Tony Awards and two Drama Desk Awards. She won the 2005 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Her Broadway credits include Sixteen Wounded, Match, and The Dinner Party. She is the sister of Obie Award–winning playwright Richard Maxwell.
