About Barbara Taylor Bradford
Barbara Taylor Bradford (1933–2024) wrote numerous international bestsellers, and fifteen of her novels made the New York Times bestsellers list, including Hold the Dream, which made the #1 spot. Ten of her novels have been adapted into television miniseries, starring actors including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Liam Neeson, Deborah Kerr, and Elizabeth Hurley. She was inducted into the Writers Hall of Fame of America and in June of 2007 was awarded an Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II for her contributions to literature. She, was born and raised in England where she started her writing career as a journalist.
About the Narrators
Barbara Rosenblat, one of the most awarded narrators in the business, was selected by AudioFile magazine as one of the Golden Voices of the Twentieth Century. She has received the prestigious Audie Award multiple times and has earned more than fifty AudioFile Earphones Awards. She has also appeared in film, television, and theater, both in London’s West End and on Broadway.
Kate Burton, an Earphones Award–winning narrator, is best known for her work on Broadway in Hedda Gabler, The Elephant Man, The Constant Wife, and Spring Awakening, as well as on television in Grey’s Anatomy and Empire Falls. Her films include Big Trouble in Little China, The Ice Storm, Unfaithful, and Remember Me. She played the title role in Alice in Wonderland with her father, Richard Burton, on PBS.
