The Wolf

Noble Aislinn grieves as the Iron Wolf and his minions storm through her beloved Darkenwald. And she burns with malice for the handsome Norman savage who would enslave her. . .even as she aches to know the rapture of the conqueror's kiss.

The Dove

For the first time ever, mighty Wulfgar has been vanquished - and by a bold and beautiful princess of Saxon blood. He must have the chaste, sensuous enchantress who is sworn to his destruction. And he will risk life itself to nurture with tender passion a glorious union born in the blistering heat of hatred and war.

"KATHLEEN E. I WOODWIWISS IS MY FFAVORIT EROTIC, HISTORICAL FICTION NOVELIST EVER! I’m a historian myself, my favorite historians beings the great David McCULLOGH, whom I shall miss forever, as well. T.H.White, author of “The Once And Future King”, which helped me through my parent’s divorce when I was thirteen. Merlin said to a young Arthur, not yet aware of his glorious future,”There is only one cure for sadness,”he said,”and that’s to lessen something. To learn why the world wags and what wags it”. This I should have written as a paraphrase, but, this is how I remembered his words. I never forgot them. The WOLF AND THE DOVE WAS THE BEST EROTIC, HISTORIC, FICTION NOVELIST WHO EVER LIVED. HER DESCRIPTIONS OF SURROUNDYINGS, WULGAR’s growing rapturous love for AISRLINN AND HERS FOR HIM. A GREAT BOOK. THE BEST AND S UCH FUN!"

" Woodiwiss was one of the first to write romance novels in a more erotic vein than what had come before. Her stories are fresh and interesting but the style is dated and dreamy rather than straightforward. However, the stories are worth the read and the time. "

" Have read the book many times and is my favourite out of all of Kathleen Woodiwiss' as it was a Mother's Day gift back in 1982. I would give it 100 out of a 100 and more for this book. "
