Publisher Description
This Much Is True: You Have Been Lied To.
- The government is expanding.
- Taxes are increasing.
- More senseless wars are being planned.
- Inflation is ballooning.
- Our basic freedoms are disappearing.
The Founding Fathers didn't want any of this. In fact, they said so quite clearly in the Constitution of the United States of America. Unfortunately, that beautiful, ingenious, and revolutionary document is being ignored more and more in Washington. If we are to enjoy peace, freedom, and prosperity once again, we absolutely must return to the principles upon which America was founded. But finally, there is hope . . .
In The Revolution, Texas congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul has exposed the core truths behind everything threatening America, from the real reasons behind the collapse of the dollar and the looming financial crisis, to terrorism and the loss of our precious civil liberties. In this book, Ron Paul provides answers to questions that few even dare to ask.
Despite a media blackout, this septuagenarian physician-turned-congressman sparked a movement that has attracted a legion of young, dedicated, enthusiastic supporters . . . a phenomenon that has amazed veteran political observers and made more than one political rival envious. Candidates across America are already running as "Ron Paul Republicans."
"Dr. Paul cured my apathy," says a popular campaign sign. The Revolution may cure yours as well.

"For me I wouldn't rate this as a book I would read again. Perhaps a reference to pull an idea from, yes. For anyone well acquainted with libertarian political philosophy it won't challenge. However, to anyone looking to understand a moderate libertarian political world view or to understand Ron Paul and his followers, this is an excellent choice. I give it such a high rating because it is a great book to pass along to a friend or colleague who isn't familiar with libertarianism. Another side effect of this being a politically motivated book is that, it doesn't really give justice to alternate views or the possibility of error. Of course, I have yet to read a libertarian book that doesn't claim to be the out-right political gospel. Par for the course I suppose."

“Though his policy suggestions can seem extreme, Paul’s book gives new life to old debates.”
— Publishers Weekly -
“Bob Craig is a convincing, low-key narrator for this sort of thing. His mature, low baritone is articulate, gentle, persuasive, calm, and orderly…No rabble-rousing here, just rational common sense.”

" A short but dazzling statement of principles and indictment of our age of political apathy. This book is for our generation what Goldwater's "Conscience of a Conservative" was to the last. "
— Stephen, 12/31/2013 -
" It's nice to read something other than fiction once and a while. Ron Paul was very convincing with his historic, economic, and reasonable arguments. "
— Ange, 12/16/2013 -
" A truly informative manifesto. This book not only gets to the core of the political issues by dismantling all of the riffraff that hides them, but Ron Paul writes with such clarity and charity that he brings unity to all peoples in America without compromise. "
— Michael, 12/11/2013 -
" An interesting read on liberty in America. It was tough for me to get through only because it is very dry and political writing, something I always have a hard time reading. "

" Every Liberty loving American should read this book. "
— Rebekah, 11/18/2013 -
" Ron Paul discusses some of the reason why the USA is in the big deep hole it is in. Although well reasoned solutions are given, I'm cynical as to any positive actions being taken by the masses. I succumb to despair. "

" Whether you agree or disagree with Ron Paul's views, I think everyone should give this a read. "
— Mike, 9/21/2013 -
" For all you libertarians our there, this is a definite must read. Ron Paul is one of the few candidates for US president that actually makes sense, though one can feel that he's sometimes struggling with him being a Christian. "

" Ron Paul rocks my world. "
— Ashley, 6/17/2013 -
" Great, great book with lots of great information, both about what's currently happening in our government and why - and what can and should be done about it. So much of it made me mad - it was hard to read about all the crap that's going on. "
— Wendy, 5/28/2013 -
" Everyone must read it. "

— Wing, 6/4/2011 -
