Mat the mailman was a beloved figure in his town, known for his friendly nature and dedication to his job. Some of the children Mat had known, now adults, recognized their old friend and were overjoyed, introducing him to their own children. Mat, in his ghostly form, also became a guardian of the town, protecting its residents and their pets from harm. He became a local legend, a symbol of enduring friendship and kindness, a not-so-spooky ghost who just wanted to make friends.
