On a dreary rainy day, siblings Sam and Sally find themselves bored and restless, unable to play outside. Their pet rabbit Mrs. Whiskers watches as the children complain about having nothing to do. Suddenly, mysterious music fills the air, and a magical music box appears in their living room.

The children enthusiastically paint the walls with flowers, butterflies, and rainbows, but the magic paint begins dripping everywhere, turning their entire room into a colorful chaos. When the Fox summons dancing brooms and singing mops to clean up, his magic goes haywire, causing the house to become completely topsy-turvy with floating furniture and swirling disorder.Realizing the mess has gotten out of hand, the Fox teaches Sam and Sally how to use magic responsibly. Together, they learn to control the wand and restore their home to its original state just before their parents return.
