About the Authors
A. W. Tozer (1897–1963) was a self-taught theologian, pastor, and writer whose powerful messages continue to grip the hearts and stir the souls of today’s believers. He wrote more than forty books, including the classics The Pursuit of God, The Knowledge of the Holy, and The Purpose of Man.
Reverend James L. Snyder is a minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and an award-winning author and humorist whose writings have appeared in more than eighty periodicals, including Guideposts. His biography of A. W. Tozer, In Pursuit of God: The Life of A. W. Tozer, won the Reader’s Choice Award from Christianity Today in 1992.
