Glanville Heisch (1908–1986) in Redondo Beach, California, was the creator/writer of the children’s Christmas radio special, The Cinnamon Bear in 1937. He produced radio programs including Sherlock Holmes on ABC (1946–1947); The Adventures Of Bill Lance on CBS (1944–1945); The Harvest Of Stars on NBC and CBS (1945–49).
At the Pasadena Playhouse Elisabeth A. Heisch (1908–2003) met her husband, writer and producer, Glanville Taft Heisch. In 1937, they together wrote the popular children’s radio series “The Cinnamon Bear,” which was played for many years during the Christmas season.
