"What an enjoyable book ... full of humor and plenty of action. I especially liked the 'it's a beautiful day' scenes. However, I wish he would have grovelled some near the end. Pediatrician Patrick meets pottery maker Megan when his rabbit starts nibbling on her clothes."

Thanksgiving Listener Reviews
-
" Eeeew, come on, really? -total mush "
— Christy, 2/19/2014 -
" This book is as bad as the Stephanie Plum series is good. Unbelievable it's by the same author. "
— Dee, 2/10/2014 -
" This was a fun read. "
— Mary, 1/26/2014 -
" It had some funny moments, but overall, it just wasn't that great. There was too much going on, and it didn't feel like it flowed very well. "
— Cara, 1/19/2014 -
" I bought it for my Kindle, because Amazon offered a whole bunch of Evanovich books for $2.50 each. But it's not good at all. These must be early ones before she hit her stride with the Stephanie Plum books, which I really love. Disappointing! "
— Barbara, 1/16/2014 -
" Another typical Evanovich, light-hearted and predictable. nothing to write home about! "
— Brooke, 12/28/2013 -
" funny, funny story "
— Novita, 12/25/2013 -
" cute book I love her books like this one "
— Lori, 12/22/2013 -
" Predictable. What you'd expect to be made into a Hallmark movie. Nonetheless, the audio book version kept me company nicely on a long driving trip. "
— Evin, 12/16/2013 -
" Not one of her best... "
— Sharyn, 11/29/2013 -
" Predictable, but cute. Janet always has me LOLing. "
— Meghan, 9/6/2013 -
" Meg and Pat are a fun, loving and slightly erratic couple. They go through a lot in a very short time. Oh, the ups an downs of new romance, unexpected babies and the biggest family holiday of the year. 3 1/2 Stars "
— Shannon, 8/30/2013 -
" Cute book, with a cute doctor who has a cute nose and a cute bunny rabbit that starts all the trouble. Honestly though, who can't tell when their horse is pregnant? Also, the ability of the heroine to delude herself was a bit astonishing. "
— Carrie, 8/26/2013 -
" Nice quick romance. "
— Sheri, 8/22/2013 -
" I love Janet Evanovich but this was not my favorite of hers. A bit too cheesy and the characters were a bit too over dramatic. But I still love Janet :) "
— Lindsay, 7/16/2013 -
" Listened to audio tape. I always enjoy Janet Evanovich. This was more romantic than some of hers. Cute and light. "
— Sandy, 4/6/2013 -
" fun light read to take matters off of things. "
— Susan, 3/27/2013 -
" Audio book from the library. Cute, fun, light hearted, typically unrealistic Evanovich, and enjoyable "
— Jess, 3/14/2013 -
" Typical Evanovich book, Chick-lit, enjoyable, fast read "
— Laurel, 2/10/2013 -
" I tried listening to this and just couldn't get into it. "
— Amy, 11/9/2012 -
" Cute and unbelieveable. CJ Crit does a good job with the narration. This story is not as good as some of the other romances--a little too sexy for me in audio format--but still enjoyable. "
— Angela, 11/7/2012 -
" This was a quick day read. I am only giving it two stars. There just wasn't much plot or thought there. "
— Mandy, 6/10/2012 -
" Cute, light romance. "
— Ronya, 5/4/2012 -
" Not the greatest romance I've ever read. Things happened way too fast and I didn't get too attached to the characters (or understand their attraction to each other). But fairly enjoyable, funny, and a super quick read. "
— Tahleen, 4/10/2012 -
" I read this because it was festive for the Thanksgiving holiday. I appreciate books which are based around a certain holiday. "
— Molly, 3/28/2012 -
" This was another one of JE's older books. It was a cute, fast, and fun read. It is always interesting to me to see how the writing style of an author matures and grows. In this book her wonderful sense of humor and love for food is a great element which she includes in her current novels. "
— Andrea, 2/22/2012 -
" All her books are good and this one made me laugh out loud. :-D "
— Jackie, 12/11/2011 -
" What can I say. I was in the mood for some fluff. "
— Laura, 10/20/2011 -
" Listened to this book as an Audio Book. This was a fun book. "
— Wendy, 10/12/2011 -
" This story was cute for what it was but then it went on too long. I can definitely see a pattern in her writing. "
— Tara, 4/10/2011 -
" Megan Murphy discovers a floppy-eared rabbit gnawing on the hem of her skirt, she means to give its careless owner a piece of her mind, but Dr. Patrick Hunter is too attractive to stay mad at for long. Both families for dinner. "
— Toni, 3/29/2011 -
" Not one of my favorites of hers. It had it's moments and was pretty predictable. It was a good beach read, and was a quick read. "
— Jodi, 3/20/2011 -
" Another cute Evanovich romance! loved it! "
— Erin, 2/14/2011 -
" This book is an easy and semi-interesting read. I was attracted to the simple plot structure and ability to read small parts at a time, while still following the overall story. The characters are quirky and fun. This book is nothing to be taken seriously, but nice for the casual reader. "
— David, 2/8/2011 -
" I liked the references to Williamsburg, VA. Otherwise it's pure Harlequin. "
— Ann, 12/22/2010 -
" A good lil' read going into the holiday... but low on list in my personal rankings of Janets love stories. "
— Arica, 11/23/2010 -
" Very enjoyable, if a bit unbelievable. The characters are likeable and there is just enough smut to keep you amused. As long as you are not expecting great literature and are happy for just fun entertainment, you won't be disappointed. "
— Stephanie, 11/20/2010 -
" Light, fluffy, and utterly ridiculous. Just what I needed for a break from a Gabaldon novel. "
— mrsg_6708, 11/18/2010 -
" Cute story. I definately like the Stephanie Plum series better and this was the first non-Plum book I've read by Janet Evanovich but overall I enjoyed it. "
— Abra, 11/14/2010 -
" Read this one because I am an Evanovich fan, but I can also see why it didn't stay in print long the first time, it's kind of silly. But if you like Evanovich, and don't expect much, you should be fine. It's cute. "
— Shaunesay, 11/13/2010 -
" If you need a short audio CD for a short road trip, this is ok but only if you can't find anything else! It's not Janet E at her best. "
— Melissa, 10/12/2010 -
" This was such a sweet book that I should have diabetes! It was a pleasant tale, with the expected outcome, but short and happy, like turkey with gravy. "
— Cindy, 10/7/2010
