About Gary Paulsen
Gary Paulsen Gary Paulsen is the distinguished author of many critically acclaimed books for young people, including three Newbery Honor Books: The Winter Room, Hatchet, and Dogsong. He won the Margaret A. Edwards Award given by the ALA for his lifetime achievement in young adult literature. He divides his time between his home in Alaska, his ranch in New Mexico, and his sailboat on the Pacific Ocean
About George Wendt
George Wendt (1948–2025) was an American actor, best known for the role of Norm Peterson on the classic television show Cheers. This role earned him six consecutive nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He revived this role in other television shows, including The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Frasier and a guest starring role on Columbo.
